I was just a nervous kid when I first walked through those gates of St. John's.
Didn't know what was ahead.
Didn't know the friends I'd make would feel like family.
Didn't know those classrooms would shape everything I'd become.
But St. John's had a plan for me that I couldn't have written myself.

Some schools give you a certificate. St. John's gave me an identity.
The teachers who never gave up on us.
The friendships that still feel like home.
The activities, the chaos, the laughter that echoed through every corridor — St. John's wasn't just a school. It was a whole universe.

And then came the moments that changed everything.
2008 — St. John's introduced house teams for the very first time.
Four houses. Four colours. One chance to lead.
- I was chosen as the inaugural Captain of the Green House — the Shamrocks.
No senior captain to learn from. No legacy to follow.
Just a green badge, a proud team, and a responsibility I carried with everything I had.
Fast forward to 2010 — our batch stood at the most historic moment in St. John's history.

We were the first ever passing out batch. And I was appointed the school's first ever Vice Captain.
To represent a school writing its very first chapter — that feeling is impossible to put into words.

Two years. Two firsts. Two moments that shaped a lifetime.
These weren't just titles.
They were lessons in leadership, accountability, and the courage to build something when no one has built it before.
I remember standing there thinking —
"How did a nervous kid from standard one end up here?"
The answer was always St. John's.

To every Green House warrior, every batch-mate, every teacher who believed in us before we believed in ourselves — this one's for you.
St. John's didn't just educate us.
It built us. It shaped us. It gave us our story.

I was just a normal kid who went to school because my parents insisted. Back then, school felt like a routine, and I never really understood why teachers kept telling us the same things over and over again. Their advice, discipline, and even the scoldings seemed unnecessary at that age.

But as life moved on, I began to understand the reality behind every lesson they tried to teach us. The values, the discipline, the importance of time, respect, and hard work—everything they spoke about finally started to make sense.
When we are children, we rarely understand the value of those moments. We only want to play with our friends, laugh, and wait for the final bell to ring.

Today, when I look back, all that remains are beautiful memories—memories of teachers who scolded or even punished us for our mistakes, friends who made every day special, and classrooms that quietly shaped the people we have become.

Sometimes, the things we once disliked become the memories we cherish the most. School wasn't just a place to study; it was the foundation of our lives, and its memories will stay with us forever.

Now at this stage we wanted to go back to school day ,but that can not happen.

This is akshaya, it feels so wonderful to reconnect with everyone like this . school days was such a beautiful and nostalgic chapter of my life , the love and care I received during those years were truly ethereal, those memories still hold a special place in my heart. I am thankful for the experience and immense love that was given to me in my school days , being vice captain, to get the opportunity to sing all these experiences gave me a step up for my future. I will never forget the day correspondent mam came at the back stage and gave me a warm tight hug , that is something I will cherish forever.

I have presented at international conferences and several inter-college events, winning a few of them. I have also worked on original research projects and short-term study programs, which have strengthened my academic and professional journey.
